Youth Anti-Violence Prevention & Intervention Program Mission is to create a safe space in which our most at-risk you can obtain the resources, guidance, support, and love they need to turn obstacles to opportunities to produce a better future for themselves an their communities.
Afterschool Program
BOW TIES of Service & Standard Peer Mentoring: is to provide positive programming for middle and high school aged boys. The program provides educational and hands-on experiences through positive peer mentoring, life skills development, and positive social interaction. Our hope is that participants will improve in their ability to make better decisions, inspire them to be strong, have a positive self image, and gain confidence. One school is selected each school year.
Brothers Overcoming With Talent Intelligence Excellence & Style
Suit, bowtie, dress shirt, socks, a watch, and shoes as a part of the attire. Every young man receives a “Keepin It 100” Young Man’s Journal to Success and every girl receives an “I’m Free to Love Me” Journal.
Jax Youth Change Agents
Fifteen youth are selected to be youth change agents. These youth meet once a week to brainstorm and implement strategy to create social change within the community.
